Managing Industrial Networks with Cisco Networking Technologies (IMINS) 1.3

The IMINS course has been updated from version 1.2 to version 1.3. The Cisco IOS version of the Stratix switch in the lab has been changed from version 15.0(2)EA1 to version 15.2(1)EY1. The affected sections of the lab guide have been updated to reflect this software upgrade and the complete lab guide has been revised. The product-specific sections of the student guide and instructor slides have been updated to include new Cisco and Rockwell Automation industrial products and all other sections have been revised. The module and lesson structure has not been modified and the updates have no impact to the existing exam.

Intended Audience

  • College degree or non-degreed qualified technician with two to three years’ experience or equivalent industry experience
  • Basic understanding of networking and industrial fundamentals or attend ELT to achieve that level
  • Networking Fundamentals for Industrial Control Systems (INICS)
  • Control Systems Fundamentals for Industrial Networking (ICINS)

The prerequisites for the course are ELT ordered directly from Cisco.
